Role: Engineering Program Manager
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Engineering Program Manager to lead cross-functional engineering programs from concept to launch. The EPM will be responsible for driving product development timelines, aligning stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring seamless execution across engineering, product, design, QA, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end execution of engineering programs, ensuring delivery of high-quality products on time and within scope.
Partner with engineering, product management, design, and QA teams to define project goals, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
Create and maintain project plans, dashboards, and documentation.
Identify and mitigate risks and blockers to ensure successful execution.
Drive program-level reporting and communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate agile/scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) and coordinate across multiple teams.
Manage change requests, scope creep, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional partners and maintain open communication channels.
Advocate for process improvements and best practices in engineering program management.
Qualifications:
PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications.
Experience in consumer tech, SaaS, enterprise software, or hardware development environments.
Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master s preferred).
5+ years of program/project management experience in a technical or engineering environment.
Proven success in managing complex software or hardware projects from inception through launch.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet).
Technical background or experience working closely with engineers and technical teams.
