Job Overview: This role is for a motivated individual to produce non-viral delivery vectors and perform characterizations, while collaborating across departments in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Spearhead collaboration efforts with team and management to guarantee the on-schedule provision of vectors, pivotal for advancing research objectives.
- Implement and refine protocols under managerial supervision, tackling preliminary troubleshooting tasks, alongside the organization and upkeep of vector core facilities for superior material quality in research applications.
- Drive operational excellence within the team, focusing on elevating production consistency, efficiency, and capacity, while rigorously adhering to and promoting best practices in knowledge, project, and lab management, along with stringent lab safety protocols.
- BS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biological Engineering, or related fields, with 2 years of relevant industry background.
- Proficiency in mammalian tissue culture and transient transfection techniques is sought after, along with a solid track record in conducting routine protocols, particularly in production settings.
- Prior hands-on involvement in manufacturing and purifying AAV, lentivirus, or similar biological vectors, including VLPs or EVs
