Role: Implementation Specialist
Type of position: Contract 5 months (through December), w2
Location: Onsite Manassas, VA
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist for a contract supporting a customer. As part of the Advantage team, you will be provided with weekly pay, 401k, medical, vision and dental options while on contract.
As an Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, as well as onboarding them to CloudIQ. You will also be responsible for performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of our PowerEdge servers.

Responsibilities**
- Install and configure CloudIQ Plugin in OpenManage Enterprise appliance
- Install and configure OpenServer Manager (OSM) 2.0
- Install and configure operating systems on PowerEdge servers
- Onboard PowerEdge servers to CloudIQ
- Run Secured Component verification
- Understand CloudIQ Cybersecurity feature scope with PowerEdge ProDeploy Plus services
- Work with iDRAC features
- Deploy OME appliance and perform discovery, configuration, deployments, and updates of new devices
- Install, implement, and configure R, HS, and T Series PowerEdge Servers
- Manage and perform troubleshooting diagnostics
- Install, implement, and configure SupportAssist Enterprise (SAE) or Secure Connect Gateway
- Successfully install, configure, manage, and do basic troubleshooting of Dell EMC PowerEdge servers
- Explain CloudIQ capabilities for PowerEdge servers
Requirements**
- MUST HAVE Experience with PowerEdge servers and their management
- Knowledge of CloudIQ and its capabilities
- Experience with OpenManage Enterprise and OpenServer Manager (OSM) 2.0
- Ability to install and configure operating systems on PowerEdge servers
- Understanding of iDRAC features and their application
- Experience with deployment and configuration of OME appliance
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PowerEdge server issues
- Strong understanding of CloudIQ Cybersecurity feature scope
- Ability to work with R, HS, and T Series PowerEdge Servers
- Experience with SupportAssist Enterprise (SAE) or Secure Connect Gateway
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
