About the Role
Join a team that s redefining the future of mobility. We re partnering with a leading luxury electric vehicle manufacturer that s setting new standards in design, performance, and sustainability.
We re looking for a Vehicle Safety Test Engineer to support crash and sled testing within vehicle development, certification, and consumer safety programs. You ll work with cross-functional safety teams and technicians to ensure all vehicles meet rigorous safety and compliance standards.

What You ll Do
Lead the execution of vehicle safety testing programs, including full-vehicle crash tests, sub-system, and component-level validation.
Manage test planning, budgeting, and scheduling to align with overall vehicle development timelines.
Collaborate with CAE and Performance teams to set safety targets and design concepts that meet global safety regulations.
Perform proof-of-concept testing, analyze post-test data, and lead root cause investigations for any deviations.
Ensure all vehicles, components, and test materials meet design intent and regulatory requirements.
Partner with external test suppliers and internal teams to ensure test quality, data accuracy, and documentation compliance.
Present results and technical insights to program management and senior leadership.
What You ll Bring
Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in vehicle safety or crash testing.
Hands-on experience with vehicle testing standards (FMVSS, ECE, NCAP, IIHS, etc.).
Deep understanding of safety performance targets and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Willingness to travel: ~30% domestic, ~5% international.
Preferred:
Familiarity with high-voltage components and homologation processes.
Experience in high-speed or quasi-static testing environments.
