Position: Software Design Engineer 3
Job Description:
- The team is responsible for firmware and software development for surface devices, windows drivers development, and integration and build development for the next generation of surface devices.
- Key projects: Embedded Firmware and Windows OS Drivers- growing window driver and window capabilities, seeing what system is causing issues and creation resolutions.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10% meetings, 20% coding, and 70% bug triaging and windows dump analysis.
Skills Required:
- 5-7 years of overall experience
- Minimum 3 years experience with debugging on Windows.
- Minimum 1-year Working experience with debugging hardware/firmware/software interaction during board bring-up.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Windows Driver Development.
