The IT Support Technician plays a critical role in providing centralized technical support for standard computing devices, software applications, and serves as a single point of contact for telephone and deskside assistance. This position involves handling support requests via phone, email, and walk-in interactions, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

The IT Support Technician plays a critical role in providing centralized technical support for standard computing devices, software applications, and serves as a single point of contact for telephone and deskside assistance. This position involves handling support requests via phone, email, and walk-in interactions, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level and advanced support for desktops, laptops, and standard applications through phone, remote, and in-person assistance.
- Respond to and resolve service requests submitted electronically, by phone, or in person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including printers and telephony systems.
- Perform computer imaging, re-imaging, and deployment of new systems in compliance with organizational standards.
- Manage inventory of IT assets, including tracking, ordering, and installation of computing equipment.
- Support conference room technology and other partnership areas as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and common desktop applications.
- Familiarity with imaging and deployment tools such as SCCM or MDT.
- Knowledge of inventory management and asset tracking processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment to meet service level expectations.
