Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- 3+ years of full stack engineering
- Angular

What You Will Be Doing
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Specialty Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Specialty Software Engineering deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Specialty Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Specialty Software Engineering.
- Perform in the high level technical and analytics role as an individual contributor developing web applications in Angular and Java.
- Be able to write Java batch applications that perform well.
- Write adequate unit tests for their code
- Write code that is free from common bugs (i.e. SQL injection) and can pass automated code scans.
- Write high quality code in the Java language using object-oriented principals and design patterns as appropriate
- Create/modify SQL Server database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc) as needed
- Work with large data sets requiring attention to computational efficiency, parallelism, and scalability
- Work as a Team Engineer in an Agile team. Need to attend daily scrum meetings and sprint planning sessions.
- Manage library dependencies of your project in a Gradle build system
- Be able to troubleshoot failed builds
