Job Title:- Senior Salesforce Business Analyst (BA)
Duration:-12 months+
Location:- Tampa, FL (Hybrid)
Job Summary
This Senior Salesforce Business Analyst (BA) is accountable for identifying, organizing, and clarifying business requirements clearly and concisely with defined goals and outcomes agreed upon between program stakeholders. The BA documents business and technical requirements across business and technical teams (internal and external), ensuring commercial enablement goals are delivered in a manner that conforms to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls. The BA is responsible for defining as is and to be business processes and producing use cases, value stream maps and/or process flows, user stories, test cases, and other documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates and refines business requirements, user stories, and documents detailed acceptance criteria of key program stakeholders.
- Documents complex business processes and IT system interactions as part of the requirement elicitation process and assesses the impact.
- Manages all requirements changes throughout the program lifecycle.
- Collaborates with various internal (business customers, IT, program team) and external (suppliers, service integrator, etc.) team members to deliver agreed-upon business requirements.
- Documents key stakeholders and persona impacts for training and change management activities.
- Collaborates with others responsible for the application, design, testing, and implementation of solutions.
- Works with key stakeholders to ensure the solution meets acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
- Minimum seven years of Business Analyst experience.
- Proven experience collecting and managing business needs and requirements in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Proven success documenting business needs and requirements with a diverse group of stakeholders (IT and Business) and delivering well-written use cases and/or user stories that can be tied directly to technical design and test documents.
- Ability to review design documentation and test cases to ensure alignment and coverage of all requirements.
- Experience defining process flow and/or value stream maps.
- Ability to collect, manage, and quantify requirement change requests.
- Proven experience on a project with many impacted users (i.e., at least 200 users).
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Define the business analysis approach, including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology.
- Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities.
- Assess and deploy business analysis best practices with stakeholders to improve project outcomes.
- Requirements Analysis and Documentation.
- Effectively communicate with various teams and stakeholders to capture requirements and convert them to technical requirements after solutioning with internal business and IT SMEs and external solution consultants.
- Develop plans and accurate estimates for the completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
- Identify and capture the ROI or value provided to the business if these requirements are met or the cost if these requirements are not achieved. Assess the priority, urgency, and impact of the requests.
- Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions (in-person and/or virtual) with diverse business and IT stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
- Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups.
- Analyze and document the scope of the business solution using enterprise-standard requirements methodology.
- Validate requirements for quality with the impacted stakeholders.
- Support business stakeholders and Delivery Teams to ensure business requirements are testable and achieve program goals.
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards.
- Create Change Approval Board (CAB) tickets and present proposed changes at CAB meetings.
Experience You Will Bring
- Deployment of dynamic business analysis methodology and approach that results in precise, well-understood requirements. Effective communication for various stakeholder levels (project team, IT leaders, and business stakeholders).
- Exceptional meeting facilitation skills (in-person and virtual).
- 5+ years of ERP Project experience (Salesforce preferred) in a Business Analyst role.
- 2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps preferred.
- 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow preferred.
- Experience with ManageEngine products (especially Service Desk Plus) is an advantage.
- 2+ years of experience with SOX compliance in an IT or project role.
- Industry knowledge is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience working in an IT environment independently and in teams (including remote and global delivery models).
