Location: 100% Remote, must be required to work EST hours
Duration: 11+ Months with possibility of extension based on demand
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours, 8AM - 5PM

Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT PMO Program Manager with specialized domain expertise in SAP ERP platforms (on-premises and cloud-based).
- The ideal candidate will lead multiple concurrent projects and possess deep technical knowledge, excellent leadership capabilities, and familiarity with SAP's Agile methodologies, such as SAP Activate.
- This role is critical to driving successful delivery of SAP initiatives, including migrations, upgrades, and integrations, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of multiple concurrent projects within the SAP domain, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Act as a servant leader to project teams, resolving technical and operational challenges to meet key milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, vendors, and development teams, to facilitate effective communication and alignment.
- Lead SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects, including planning, execution, and risk mitigation.
- Drive SAP integration initiatives, connecting core ERP systems to cloud SaaS solutions or other on-premises systems.
- Manage upgrade projects involving Basis, Server Architecture, and database considerations.
- Implement SAP Activate methodology for project delivery, ensuring compliance with SAP standards and best practices.
- Provide domain knowledge across SAP ECC modules such as FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM, QM, and PS.
- Utilize expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud architecture, SAP Fiori, embedded analytics, and integration capabilities.
- Understand SAP HANA database advantages and cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Leverage tools like SAP Solution Manager for SAP environment management and custom programming languages such as ABAP.
- Create and execute communication plans for projects, including status updates, stakeholder interactions, milestone announcements, and governance correspondence.
- Use tools such as RAID logs, risk registers, and issue logs to monitor and resolve project issues.
- Conduct retrospective meetings and lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to mandatory governance models, including SOX, NIST, and DoD standards, based on project risk scores.
- Maintain required artifacts in the project repository and ensure alignment with client Quality Processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (required),
- (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience, specifically focused on SAP (Premise + Cloud) projects.
- Proven track record of managing multiple project efforts in parallel with exposure to SAP's Agile methodologies.
- Experience with migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, including data conversion and change management processes.
- 7+ years of direct supervisory experience with virtual teams.
- The ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and inspiring team members.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills to ensure project continuity and success.
- Project Management Institute PMP Certified (mandatory).
- Scrum Certified and Agile Certified (preferred).
- Domain certifications in SAP or related fields (highly desirable).
- Proficiency in Planview Modules for portfolio management, project tracking, and Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, and Kanban Boards.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives and automation of manual project management processes.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to handle stress in fast-paced environments.
- Self-directing, with the ability to manage ambiguous tasks effectively.
- Ability to influence without formal authority and foster alignment across diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates who are experienced Program Managers with specialized SAP knowledge and a passion for delivering impactful IT solutions are encouraged to apply.
