Hardware Technician HW debug/Lab Management Required Qualifications
  • 10 or more years of experience in a testing lab or manufacturing environment with electrical/mechanical component or system testing; semiconductor experience is preferred.
  • Experience with facilities & infrastructure coordination, knowledge of specialized lab systems, including water cooling, chillers, and CDA lines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Proficient with G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) or similar office productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a group.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds unaided.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an R&D lab environment.
  • Familiarity with electrical/electronics test equipment.
  • Post-high school education in a technical field.
  • Experience with MySQL and/or Python scripting.
Key Responsibilities: Equipment & Asset Management
  • Coordinate and supervise all activities for equipment calibration.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs with external vendors with the lab manager's coordination
  • Conduct regular physical inventory events and maintain accurate equipment records.
  • Log and monitor all equipment movement and transactions, including processing new equipment and managing the check-in/check-out of assets to engineers.
Lab Operations & Logistics
  • Manage daily lab operations, including physical space stewardship and general housekeeping
  • Oversee all shipping and receiving logistics for the lab
  • Manage and maintain the inventory of lab supplies and consumables.
  • Work closely with the EHS team on equipment and facilities-related safety issues and protocols.
Facilities & Infrastructure Coordination
  • Serve as the liaison for all facility-related requests, overseeing new lab FAQs and planning in coordination with facilities (REWS) as needed
  • Deep knowledge of specialized lab infrastructure, including water cooling systems, chillers, and compressed dry air (CDA) lines.
  • Partner with IT and networking teams to define and document lab network requirements, including port counts, data drop locations, and Wi-Fi specifications.
Engineering & Project Support
  • Provide hands-on, onsite support for engineering teams, including initial hardware setup, installing boards, connecting cables, and assisting with physical system bring-up.
  • Be available for 1-2x/yr for short-term assignments requiring overnight availability (e.g., for up to two weeks) to support critical project bringups


Estimated Min Rate: $55.00
Estimated Max Rate: $65.00
