Kubernetes Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Kubernetes Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Kubernetes based platform infrastructure (AKS, OpenShift, GKE, K3s, RKE).
• Develop and maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and reusable deployment templates.
• Assist application development teams in containerizing services and deploying them in multitenant Kubernetes environments.
• Implement GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD and FluxCD.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Ensure platform observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Fluent Bit, Loki, and other monitoring/logging tools.
• Enforce Kubernetes RBAC, network policies, and secrets management for secure multitenant environments.
• Optimize platform performance through resource tuning, autoscaling, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and platform level issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture (Pods, Deployments, Services, Namespaces, etc.).
• Experience with Helm for application packaging and deployment.
• Proficiency in writing and managing Kubernetes YAML manifests.
• Familiarity with Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and Operators.
• Strong experience with Docker and container image best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms: AKS, Red Hat OpenShift, GKE, K3s, RKE.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes RBAC, security policies, and service accounts.
• Understanding of Kubernetes networking (CNI plugins, Ingress controllers).
• Experience with TLS, certificate management, and Secrets encryption.
• Experience integrating Kubernetes into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, ArgoCD, FluxCD).
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and related tooling.
• Understanding of container security and scanning tools (e.g., Trivy).
• Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana.
• Logging solutions: Fluent Bit, Fluentd, ELK, Loki.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in Agile/DevOps environments with cross functional teams.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $60- $70/per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
