Software Developer - C#

MCS Group are excited to be working with this client, which prides itself on its collaborative culture and tech first approach. The company is seeking experienced C# developers to join its team in NYC.

This company are a global hedgefund and seeking strong developers with distributed systems experience to join their team and work on excited projects.

The Role

• Hands on C# development for the FinOps team


• Working on a distributed systems, Microservices and Containerization technologies


• Taking ownership of complex challenges and collaborating closely with quant researchers, trading teams and business leaders to deliver on project goals


• Mentorship and knowledge sharing sessions


• Supporting existing infrastructure and Greenfield development, as the company transitions to a multi-asset environment

The Person

• Significant experience, hands on C# development


• Strong Distributed Systems experience


• Microservices experience and knowledge about upstream/downstream data


• Container tech (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Kafka/Rabbit or another open-source messaging system


• Exposure to Vue.js or React would be preferable
