Position Overview

The SDLC Tools Administrator will assume ownership of the enterprise technology tool ecosystem. This individual will be the go-to authority for tools administration, configurations, workflows, dashboards, permissions, and integrations.

The ideal candidate will blend Jira expertise with a practical understanding of Agile development that drives consistent, compliant, and highly effective tool utilization across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary Jira administrator by configuring projects, custom fields, workflows, dashboards, filters, and permission schemes to meet evolving team needs.
  • Manage integrations between Jira and other platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git), ensuring data consistency and process alignment.
  • Create and maintain Jira dashboards, boards, and reporting for stakeholders at all levels, delivering actionable metrics from ideation to deployment.
  • Administer other development tools within the SDLC ecosystem, optimizing performance and usability.
  • Standardize Jira usage across teams to ensure consistent project templates, configurations, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot Jira-related issues, providing responsive and knowledgeable support to users.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to refine workflows, automate repetitive processes, and improve cross-team collaboration.
  • Generate and maintain compliance documentation, audit reports, and system change logs related to Jira and other development tools.
  • Train and mentor users on various best practices, reporting, automation, and Agile usage.
  • Evaluate new tools along with features, add-ons, and integrations to enhance enterprise functionality and efficiency.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on Jira administration experience including advanced configurations and workflow design.
  • Proven experience managing SDLC tools including version control and CI/CD systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and their implementation within Jira.
  • Familiarity with reporting, audit, and compliance requirements related to development tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to translate technical configurations into business-friendly explanations.

  • Target Compensation: $110k - $130k
