As part of the Finance Systems team, the business systems lead will be accountable for the success of the administrative Anaplan system and user support for the Finance organization and supporting continuous delivery enhancements to existing Anaplan models.

Support the full Anaplan development life cycle including model design, build, testing, delivery, iteration, and maintenance

Serve as a system SME for large-scale connected planning solutions

Manage a team of 3-5 professionals

Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within Finance department

Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges

Co-/facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand the end-to-end current state processes, capture/mitigate risks, dependencies, requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria for new Anaplan model builds and existing model change requests and enhancements

Actively participate in new security initiatives and incorporate the changes into the platform

Develop and implement designs for changes to the system. Work with external vendors or other teams to ensure the correct design and implementation of components that require external interfaces.

Contribute project documentation in order to support maintenance and future development activities

Deliver end-to-end implementations (UAT and ALM) by designing, implementing, and optimizing models in Anaplan, while working closely with partners in IT and the business

Drive scale by standardizing and enhancing methodologies across our model landscape, maintenance processes, and documentation

Optimize process by reducing manual touchpoints and aligning a group strategic vision

Providing primary business support during process UAT and parallel runs including primary escalation and resolution contact

Design effectivity & efficiently to cover processes and requirements into detailed Architecture blueprints, enterprise models with associated modules, lists/line items and calculations

Participate in solution architecture and design by demonstrating strong solutioning skills and best practices resulting in robust, future ready, scalable Anaplan solutions

Partner with consultants on major implementations and provide end-to-end support - converting requirements to technical design, flow mapping, model building, user acceptance testing, and process documentation

Design and develop training programs to drive increased end-user adoption.

UAT Support and Deployment using ALM

Developing in-depth understanding business processes and develop solutions to improve functionality, user experience and data quality of Anaplan

Lead functional design, prototyping and process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), including developing system requirements and testing procedures

A leader in the Anaplan Community

Be the spoke person for Anaplan - promote Anaplan's best practices, stay informed of new features and releases and assess feasibility before incorporating

We'd love to hear from people with:

Experience working with enterprise planning solutions (SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan) or other multi-dimensional planning solutions

Advanced experience in manipulation of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving methods

Advanced Knowledge of Excel and Database Design concepts

Experience leveraging Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

Ability to design and provide solution to large-scale connected planning solutions, develop model document, conduct data integration testing and lead a team to conduct UAT testing and deployment of models using ALM

Solid grasp of security protocols & procedures - SSL, SSO, Secrets Management, Code Repo's, CI/CD pipelines, Database Encryption etc.

Required:

o Anaplan architecture experience
