Job Title: VMware Administrator Level 3

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Level 3 VMware Administrator to lead and manage our virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex virtualization solutions. The candidate will have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• the design, architecture, and implementation of virtualization solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• and optimize VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual networking.
• the deployment and management of virtual machines, templates, and storage resources.
• with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other IT systems.
• in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex virtualization issues.
• and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
• and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for virtualized environments.
• Cisco UCS infrastructure including blade/rack mount servers, fabric interconnects.
• and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and architectural decisions.
• technical leadership and mentorship to junior administrators, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• current with emerging virtualization technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure.
• Escalation & working closely with customers.
