Job Details
A globally leading consumer device company is looking for a Product Manager to join their Payments Platform team. You will focus on payments performance, compliance, and data service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, treasury, finance, and legal, to ensure that all payment systems and data are easily accessible to our merchants as well as compliant with regional and global regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits related to payment and data flows between APS and external partners. Provide recommendations based on regulation and industry best practices.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks in payment data flows and processes. Ensure compliance-related issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyze payment metrics, such as transaction volume, decline rates, etc., and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Operationalize anomaly and issue detection tools so that we can detect and resolve issues faster.
- Leverage data-driven insights to make informed recommendations on data and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments.
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment gateways, merchant services, digital wallets, and mobile payments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using data to drive product decisions.
- Knowledge of payment regulations, security standards, privacy, and industry best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in the payments industry.
- Familiarity with data tools such as: Splunk, Tableau, Numbers/Excel.
- Knowledge of international payment systems and cross-border transactions.
- Masters Degree in Business or Data Analytics
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (100% on site)
Pay range: $ 59.00 - $ 74.00 (DOE)
