Description
As a support technician for this medical device Engineering team, you will be working with over 1200 locations providing remote support related to medical imaging equipment. Technicians will prioritize caseload and tickets from a queue as well as be involved in hardware preparation, device testing, software deployments and rollout projects to the field locations. - Responsibilities: Provide software troubleshooting support (Level 2/3). Coordinate troubleshooting and support with vendors. Provide over the phone/remote technical support to users by helping with hardware and software issues and answering questions. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical, IT, as well as electrical/mechanical issues with medical imaging equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on imaging equipment according to manufacturer guidelines. Coordinate technician dispatches, including scheduling, ordering parts, and follow-ups. Triage service desk tickets, gather missing information, and make outbound calls to offices. Manage longer ticket cycles and see issues through to resolution. - Qualifications: Comfortable working in fast paced, dynamic, large Healthcare Service Organization environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong IT computing and networking support background Strong Customer Service, Communication, and Documentation skillset Well-rounded PC desktop technician with strong troubleshooting skills (Windows, software, networking). Ability to administer Windows workstations, including networking drivers and software management. Intuition to learn new software quickly. Highly organized, capable of coordinating vendor relations and following complex workflows. Experience in medical imaging software or hardware (Carestream, Planmeca, PACS) is a plus. Experience in a medical environment supporting medical devices is also beneficial We are looking for 3, experienced Technical Support agents, available for a 3-month contract immediately that can assist our customer in managing their queue or tickets to enable operations for their field sites. Will be trained, on-site in their processes and technologies. Must have the ability to pick up technology quickly and be able to problem solve to improve.
