Job Details

Job Title: Epic Senior Analyst
Location: Remote (Canada)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Epic Senior Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and daily operations of Epic s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role requires hands-on system configuration, end-user support, and collaboration across clinical and IT teams. The candidate should be capable of leading a module team and possess a deep understanding of Epic along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and tailor Epic EHR workflows to meet clinical and operational needs
  • Provide frontline support for end-users, resolving system issues through ticketing and incident management
  • Monitor data integrity, implement quality control measures, and ensure accurate appointment and patient data
  • Conduct workflow analysis in collaboration with clinical staff to improve system efficiency
  • Maintain thorough documentation for configurations, changes, and resolutions
  • Train clinical teams and end-users; develop instructional content and training sessions
  • Generate and analyze Epic system reports to identify performance improvements
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, MIPS/MACRA)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess business needs and deliver effective Epic solutions
  • Participate in system upgrades, regression testing, and release cycles
  • Provide on-call support during major events or system-wide implementations


Module Expertise:

  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one Epic module (with active certification)
  • Preferred certifications in multiple modules spanning Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Ancillary, Integration, or Reporting


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • Familiarity with multiple Epic modules is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
  • Commitment to learning new technologies and continuous improvement
