My client, a leader in the insurance sector, is hiring for a Data Analyst role. The company focuses on using innovative data strategies to achieve its business objectives. The role involves transforming data into actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, carrier partners, and engineering, to identify and prioritize key data insights and requirements, under the guidance of the Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics.
- Monitor emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and propose relevant solutions to the organization.
- Create and manage Power BI reports and visualizations to present insights and trends to stakeholders.
- Implement and uphold data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Work closely with team members and business stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions that drive business results.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Team Retrospectives.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics or similar related field. Graduate degree preferred.
- 5+ years of working experience in analytics/reporting positions.
- Strong experience in SQL and Power BI.
- Project Management experience
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Strong communication skills.
