Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Job Type: W2 Contract (12 months)
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Onsite M - F (40 hours / week)
Pay Rate: $ 22 - 30 / hour
Position Overview:
As a Supply Chain Analyst / Production Planner, you will play a key role in aligning supply planning with production scheduling to support business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, production timelines, and supply chain efficiency. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, scheduling expertise, and a passion for driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules for assigned product lines, including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Create procurement plans and manage purchase orders to ensure timely material availability.
  • Partner with manufacturing and business planning teams to align production with customer demand and forecasts.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory targets to balance service levels with cost efficiency.
  • Conduct planning analyses to support decision-making and provide insights on supply chain performance.
  • Lead or support Lean Six Sigma and process improvement projects to enhance planning and scheduling processes.
  • Track and report capacity requirements, collaborating with teams to address constraints.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain planning, production scheduling, or procurement.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, IMES, or similar) and inventory management tools.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
