Job Description
U.S. Bank is looking for a candidate with a proven background in AI automation and optimization. You will be working with various technology teams implementing AI security technologies with an automated and pattern-driven approach. Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive security controls for AI and GenAI applications, while ensuring resilience against emerging threats. AI technologies will also be leveraged for enhancing security capabilities, providing an automated or semi-automated defense against the realization of cyber risk. Manage AWS, Azure and hybrid deployments within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement security controls specifically for AI and GenAI applications
Integrate AI security tools with standard internal CI/CD platform and emerging technologies
Design, implement, and test features end to end to ensure quality.
Implement security best practices for AI infrastructure
Create supporting documentation and utilize self-documenting scripting/coding techniques for service consumers as well as business users to be able to understand your products
Preferred Skills/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent work experience
Five or more years of experience in information security
Two or more years of experience in MLOps, securing AI infrastructure and AI/GenAI concepts
Two or more years of experience in IT infrastructure management, application architecture, risk management, middleware technology, and IT project management
2+ years job-related experience provisioning and managing applications in both virtual and cloud infrastructures (AWS or Azure), shell scripting for process automation, preferably utilizing Ansible and/or Templating languages such as Cloud Formation (AWS), ARM (Azure) or Terraform and managing cloud-based systems and/or cloud-native clusters
2+ years of experience working with DevOps tools (i.e. container orchestration experience in Kubernetes, Jenkins for continuous integration preferred)
2+ years of experience with AI orchestration, Python + AI libraries, ETL, and REST libraries
Developing, deploying, and managing machine learning models in production environments using MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Implementing data pipelines and workflows to collect, preprocess, and feed data into machine learning models.
Model training and fine-tuning
Monitoring and optimizing model performance using metrics and visualization tools.
RAG, including knowledge of vector dbs and embeddings
Proven experience in working autonomously and take ownership of issue analysis and resolution efforts
Working knowledge of cloud security principles and techniques including but not limited to elastic network security and cloud-native/PaaS security constructs
**The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.**
