Job Title: Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting (Director)
Location: Houston, TX - Hybrid

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience in SEC financial reporting, accounting, and financial controls in a public company environment or public accounting firm.

  • Extremely strong GAAP and technical research skills, commensurate with a complex global company environment.

  • Proficiency with selected software applications; experience with Oracle and OneStream a plus.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as the position requires:

    • Regular partnering with senior management across multiple corporate functions

    • Ability to concisely document technical positions in critical policy and other memoranda

    • Discussing and defending technical positions

  • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, under pressure and within strict deadlines.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Education / Training Required

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting

  • CPA (active preferred, but passed exam minimum)

  • Experience with demonstrated progression, including proficiency in technical accounting areas

  • Current or prior public accounting experience within a Big 4 public accounting firm (nice to have, strong preference for Senior Manager level)
