RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a Business Analyst - Merchandising Operations. This person will support the efforts to provide subject matter expertise, project management, and analytical support to the development and execution of merchandising strategies.

Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will perform analysis of data, build presentations, and will solve business questions using their insights, analytics, and judgement. They will work with cross functional partners, including marketing, ops, strategy and others to ensure end to end thinking on strategy and execution. The Senior Business Analyst will also support merchants directly by helping them understand their business, test pricing strategies, and helping them achieve their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
* (50%): Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin. Utilize learnings to help merchants reach financial objectives
* (30%): Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis
* (10%): Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs
* (10%): Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Advanced SQL - specifically Google BigQuery and an understanding of relational databases
* Tableau - loading and manipulating large datasets into Tableau to build insights
* Excel - knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, graphing quick visualizations, building charts/graphs to understand statistical concepts.
* Data movement - how to move large datasets
* Stakeholder communication - easily summarizing complex information, especially in PowerPoint decks
* AI - understanding of AI on how to do research on complex problems
* Ability to develop new metrics for scalable reporting
* Experience with Ad -hoc reporting + strategic metric development; Understanding where to search or who to talk to to find where the data lives will be key
* Experienced with Advanced SQL; This role will work with complex Joins, Window Functions, and CTEs for data that is pulled in at the SKU, Store, Day grain
* Understanding of how to trace back data discrepanciesWorking with large datasets (>20M rows) and what that means to share data across BigQuery to stakeholders for analysis; Optimized queries for performance, e.g., how to process 20M+ rows of data daily
* Experience with dashboard creation, data blending, or advanced calculations; Knowledge of how backend data populates a dashboard
* Knowledge of impact of how a schema change can impact downstream users for a dashboard failing

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
