Posting is for Wisconsin based candidates only (or those willing to relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of the start date). Candidates that are NOT located IN Wisconsin or not willing to relocate within that timeframe will not be considered and should not be submitted. All work must be done in Wisconsin. Local candidates preferred. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.

Structured Analysis and Design for an online and batch DB2/IMS/CICS/MVS/Cobol/JCL Mainframe (8+ Years)
Extensive experience in DB2 databases (8+ Years)
Solid analytical and problem-solving experience (8+ Years)
Advanced Structured Analysis and Design for an online and batch DB2/IMS/CICS/MVS/Cobol/JCL Mainframe env (8 Years)
Structured Analysis and Design of Online and Batch DB2/CICS/MVS COBOL Mainframe using SPUFI, SQL (8 Years)
Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation(8 Years)
Excellent oral and written communication skills (8 Years)
Application Development and Support of IMS/CICS/DB2/COBOL/JCL Mainframe (8 Years)
Post production support on middle to large mainframe applications(8 Years)
Analytical/problem solving skills (8 Years)
Familiarity with .NET/C#/SQL Server/API/Visual Studio (8 Years)

Preferred Experience & Skills:
Knowledge of DCF programs, prior experience with the Wisconsin CARES system and familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards is highly preferred
Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with TANF or large Health and Human Services systems
Preference will be given to candidates who also have experience in C#.NET, XML, API, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Angular
The candidate should have strong communication skills and should be a team player

Responsibilities:
This developer position will provide application development and support for the client related mainframe applications
This developer will work as part of a team to develop and enhance mainframe applications using technologies such as COBOL and DB2 databases to implement maintenance & enhancement mainframe functionality
The Cobol Mainframe Programmer 5 (CMP5) will work on high profile mainframe application projects within the client section
The incumbent will maintain and develop online and batch application programs by reviewing, analyzing, coding, testing and debugging application code. They will develop specifications, diagrams, flowcharts and documentation. The CMP5 will analyze and develop programs using COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL for the new enhancements
The CMP5 will implement application changes, enhancements and new applications and provide post implementation support
This position requires 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
While this position will typically report to a project leader or manager, there will be an expectation of self-direction

1.Selected candidate will be required to provide personal equipment for remote work. Technical specifications of hardware are:
Home Internet Service: Minimum 20 Mbit down and 5 Mbit up. Capability to plug in network (cat 5a or better) cable to the computer.

It is required to have full audio/video conferencing capabilities (camera and headset).
It is expected that you will update and maintain your hardware to always be compatible with the most current version of the Omnissa Horizon Client

Candidate must be available to perform all work during the Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am - 35PM (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager)
