ASSYST is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to support our client in Austin TX

Location: Austin, TX

Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)

Position: Remote

Job Description

The Salesforce Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions that support business objectives and drive operational efficiency. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, and administrators to implement scalable and high-performing Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and the Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud environments.
  • Implement customized Salesforce functionality using Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, Triggers, and Workflows.
  • Configure and manage Salesforce features such as Sites, Security, CORS, Connected Apps, and Profiles.
  • Build and optimize Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Flows, and REST API integrations to enhance platform usability and automation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Experience Cloud sites to support external users and business partners.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs and solutions.
  • Perform system integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications, ensuring data accuracy and performance.
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce environments, including Sandboxes, Deployment, and Change Management.
  • Develop and publish Reports and Dashboards, providing insights and analytics to key business users.
  • Ensure Salesforce development aligns with industry standards, best practices, and organizational compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of Salesforce systems implementation experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce platform functional and application design.
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Administration and Configuration (Sites, Security, CORS, Connected Apps, etc.).
  • 8+ years of proven analytical and coding experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Workflows, Triggers, and REST API.
  • 5+ years of experience developing Reports and Dashboards, including exporting and publishing capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Sandboxes, Integrations, and Application Development.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and building Salesforce Experience Cloud

Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) Required
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) Required
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) Preferred / Nice to have
