Our work depends on you, as Advanced Computer Systems Analyst, joining the Navy and Marine Corps Sector to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled individuals to provide solution engineering, server administration, configuration management (CM), infrastructure, applications development/operations support, and cybersecurity/Information Assurance (IA) support for Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES) projects.

As an Advanced Computer Systems Analyst, Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Work Role Identification 451, you will analyze scientific, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. You will perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Part of your responsibilities may require you to analyze or recommend commercially available software.

In this role, a typical day may include:
  • Collecting and performing analysis on complex information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system
  • Prepare complex flow charts, models, and procedures
  • Conduct feasibility studies to design possible system solutions
  • Conduct complex form design and layout activities
  • Prepare systems specifications
  • Develop technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of systems
  • Perform detailed analysis and systems designs
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Possess and maintain a DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance with Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Common Access Card
  • Travel 10-25%
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Meet the CSWF education, training or certification requirements for Work Role Identification: 451 (_sa_451) and
  • Seven (7) years or more experience performing related work

The likely salary range for this position is $108,979 - $147,443. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
