Job Title: MuleSoft Integration Developer / API Integration Engineer
Location: Remote
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled MuleSoft Integration Developer / API Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations and APIs using MuleSoft. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects, and other developers to ensure seamless connectivity between systems, high-quality data flows, and efficient API management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft integrations (Mule 4, Anypoint Platform) for connecting cloud and on-premise applications.
- Build APIs, reusable components, and integration patterns according to business requirements and architecture standards.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high code quality.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Implement security, governance, and error-handling mechanisms for APIs and integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and CI/CD pipelines for integrations.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for APIs, integrations, and workflows.
- Stay current with MuleSoft platform updates, integration trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 6+ years of experience in integration development, preferably with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong experience in building REST/SOAP APIs, API-led connectivity, and event-driven integrations.
- Proficient in DataWeave, MuleSoft connectors, and integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven) and version control.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and SaaS applications (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (Mule 4) or higher.
- Experience in API design, API security, and API management using MuleSoft Anypoint API Manager.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIP) and microservices architecture.
