Role 1.) Technical Project Manager OSS Specialist
Overview
- The Supplier shall provide professional services to Nokia and its Customers for Nokia OSS and Network Management products/platforms. The role requires delivering services such as software upgrades, patch updates, maintenance, installation, commissioning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting for NetAct and Archive Cloud products and their hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning creating project schedules, design documents, risk management plans, and coordinating resources.
- Project Execution managing project governance, executing activities, monitoring risks/issues, handling change requests, and ensuring milestones are achieved.
- Project Closure conducting acceptance testing, lessons learned, final handover, and ensuring customer acceptance.
- Technical Support coordinating with Technical Support Teams, resolving issues, ensuring system health, and meeting SLAs.
- Provide monthly reports, track deliverables, and ensure First Time Right and On-Time Delivery.
- Manage and direct assigned personnel, ensuring compliance with Nokia s security, process, and customer requirements.
- Ensure smooth collaboration with Nokia project managers, SMEs, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Handle escalations, track risks, and ensure corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of Nokia s processes, tools, and customer-related information.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete required training (e.g., Nokia/Customer security and access compliance training).
- Ability to work during normal working hours and maintenance windows, remotely and on-site.
- Must comply with data protection, privacy, export control, and security laws.
- Ability to travel if required.
- Must pass Nokia s and the Customer s background checks and security requirements.
Role 2.) Technical Project Manager OSS Integration & Suport Engineer
Overview:
- Provide professional services for Nokia OSS & Network Management platforms primarily NetAct and Archive Cloud covering integration, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and project delivery (planning execution closure) for lab and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Element Integration
- Integrate Nokia NEs into NetAct testbed and production environments using MOPs.
- Perform E2E testing; collect logs/traces; root-cause analysis; open & drive TSS/L3 tickets; validate fixes.
- Produce and maintain Method of Procedures (MOPs); update after releases/upgrades.
Troubleshooting (SPOC)
- Acknowledge service requests within 2 working days.
- Daily/weekly status to customer (per priority), resolution and summary reports, sign-oX within defined timelines.
Project Delivery
- Planning: schedules, design documents, risk management, SME resourcing, eXort/cost estimates.
- Execution: governance, milestone control, change requests, risk/issue tracking, escalations, progress reporting.
- Closure: ensure ATCs are completed/accepted, lessons learned, Certificate of Acceptance.
Technical Support
- Coordinate with Care-TSS; ensure SLAs; be accountable for system health during implementation.
Reporting & Governance
- Monthly reports on deliverables/progress/performance; support KPI tracking and improvement actions.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge/experience in Computer Science/IT. Strong Linux/Unix and Storage/SAN experience. Hands-on with OSS/NMS (FCAPS: Fault, Performance, Config, Software Mgmt). Experience with Nokia NetAct and Archive Cloud (preferred). MOP development/testing, ticketing, and L3 coordination. Technical Project Management with customer-facing support & status reporting. Experience working in the USA. Excellent written and verbal English. PMP certification is a plus.
