This company is looking for a Lead .NET Software Developer to join and lead their team in the Addison, TX office! Required Skills And Experience
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core. Experience with VB.NET and WCF is also beneficial.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ORM tools like Entity Framework.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, for deploying and managing applications.
- At least 2 years of experience leading development teams, including mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and designers, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git and experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of software development experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Guide and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications using .NET technologies.
- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and to improve other team members.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and deployment guides.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, guiding the team in adopting innovative solutions and maintaining technical excellence.
