Job Title: Project Manager Service Onboarding & Transition Lead
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead Service Onboarding and Transition initiatives. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in ITIL and ITSM practices, exceptional project management capabilities, and a proven ability to drive service excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end onboarding projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless service transitions that align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead service onboarding and transition projects, ensuring alignment with ITIL and ITSM best practices.
- Define project scope, gather requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and develop detailed project plans.
- Utilize ServiceNow and other ITSM tools to manage incidents, changes, problems, and service requests.
- Analyze performance data and generate actionable insights using advanced Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau and PowerPoint.
- Facilitate effective meetings with clear agendas and outcomes, ensuring productive stakeholder engagement.
- Drive continual service improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing enhancements.
- Mentor and guide onboarding team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing feedback and refining service delivery processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand IT architecture, including hardware, networks, and collaboration services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- ITIL certification is mandatory; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
