Job Description

Expectations:

  • System QA, developing test automation. Working with development engineers / product owners to understand requirements and find innovative ways to improve and make testing more efficient and effective partnering with engineering teams and developing scalable tools and infrastructure that help engineers develop, test, debug and release software quickly.
  • Must have Linux administration and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Should have Shell scripting or Python coding experience
  • Person will be involved in automation code reading and testing of automated scripts initially then he should be able to write the code independently after few months.
    Person should be able to independent from day one and should be able to make proactive decisions whatever is good for the project.
  • Experience in setting up labs and different hardware systems in controlled environment
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Detail oriented with good reporting skills.
  • Background in server storage is a plus.
    Programming language Python (must have), C++ / Java(good to have)
    OS - Linux Knowledge ( MUST )

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring, maintenance, and triaging of existing test environments. Escalation of issues back to customer
  • Develop scripts for test environments in Python, GO, and SHELL scripts.
  • Develop dashboards for monitoring test environments.
  • Fault isolation/reporting of problems found in the test environment.
  • Debugging of automation scripts used to maintain the test environments and dashboards.
  • Log, verify and triage all the bugs as a part of debug and triaging
  • Daily update in Buganizer found in debug and triage.
  • Periodic update of test environment status.
  • Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings, as required.
  • Update assigned tasks status on a weekly basis.
  • Create and maintain test environment artifacts related to knowledge management for training and onboarding of new members as and when needed.
