Job Details

Seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated ServiceNow CMDB & Reporting Analyst to support the Enterprise Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) space, and a solid understanding of data and reporting constructs. This role will serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, gathering and interpreting requirements from multiple levels of leadership, and translating them into actionable outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, enhance, and govern the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Collaborate with platform owners, discovery teams, and service owners to drive proper configuration item (CI) classification and relationships.

    • Define and enforce CMDB data quality metrics and normalization processes.

    • Design and develop custom reports and dashboards using ServiceNow Reporting, Performance Analytics, or external BI tools.

    • Interpret data models to support ITSM and ITOM use cases, compliance tracking, and executive-level insights.

    • Ensure data consistency, compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

    < data-start="1738" data-end="1794">Stakeholder Management & Requirements Gathering</>
    • Serve as a key liaison between technology teams, business partners, and leadership.

    • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders across various business units and leadership levels.

    • Translate business requirements into clear, technical specifications or enhancements for ServiceNow.

  • Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, with a strong emphasis on CMDB management.

    • Solid understanding of data modeling, reporting constructs, and data integrity principles.

    • Proven experience in creating executive-level dashboards and reports.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

    • Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and document requirements from senior leadership.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations across technical and non-technical teams.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist CMDB.

    • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, and ITOM.

    • Familiarity with ITIL practices and CMDB governance models.

    • Experience working in large enterprise environments or regulated industries (e.g., banking, finance).
