Seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated ServiceNow CMDB & Reporting Analyst to support the Enterprise Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) space, and a solid understanding of data and reporting constructs. This role will serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, gathering and interpreting requirements from multiple levels of leadership, and translating them into actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
< data-start="981" data-end="1018">ServiceNow & CMDB Management</>Maintain, enhance, and govern the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment with enterprise standards.
Collaborate with platform owners, discovery teams, and service owners to drive proper configuration item (CI) classification and relationships.
Define and enforce CMDB data quality metrics and normalization processes.
Design and develop custom reports and dashboards using ServiceNow Reporting, Performance Analytics, or external BI tools.
Interpret data models to support ITSM and ITOM use cases, compliance tracking, and executive-level insights.
Ensure data consistency, compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Serve as a key liaison between technology teams, business partners, and leadership.
Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders across various business units and leadership levels.
Translate business requirements into clear, technical specifications or enhancements for ServiceNow.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, with a strong emphasis on CMDB management.
Solid understanding of data modeling, reporting constructs, and data integrity principles.
Proven experience in creating executive-level dashboards and reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and document requirements from senior leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist CMDB.
Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, and ITOM.
Familiarity with ITIL practices and CMDB governance models.
Experience working in large enterprise environments or regulated industries (e.g., banking, finance).
