Equal Plus Consulting has been engaged to search for a LDAP Consultant to work remotely for our client based in Mexico.

Job: LDAP Consultant
Country/Place: Remote in LATAM
Language: Spanish and English
Start date: April /May 2024
Job type: Temporary contract
100% remote
Duration: 6 months

Description:
- Provide front-line support for Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), Oracle Directory Server (ODSEE) infrastructure.
- Provide proactive monitoring of all OUD/ODS environments.
- Participate in SWAT and incident related calls with application areas.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues within the defined SLAs for the OUD/ODS LDAP directory infrastructure.
- Create and schedule changes required to perform infrastructure tasks.
- Plan and execute ITIL activities for incidents, problems, changes and enhancements, incident investigation, incident diagnosis and resolution.
- Utilize Linux knowledge with basic scripting skills to support the platform.

Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of LDAP protocol, LDAP queries (query creation, content retrieval, filtering, etc.).
- Working knowledge of LDAP browser (configuration, functionality, query results, etc.).
- 3+ years of relevant ODS/OUD (or relevant IAM) experience working with identity integrations, including one or more of Active Directory, LDAP, ISAM, and other federated/cloud identity management systems.
- Working knowledge of LDAP protocol, LDAP queries (creating search queries, querying content, filtering, etc.).
- Working knowledge of LDAP browsers (configuration, functionality, query results, etc.).
- Working knowledge of networking (DNS, load balancers, OSI model, firewalls).
- Working knowledge of Unix and RHEL 6/7 LINUX platforms, including:
- Hardware performance and capability commands.
- Text editors (commands, etc.)
- Logging reviews: Ability to identify errors/problems and troubleshoot problems.

- ITIL knowledge (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Release Management).

Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with customers and technical staff to assist in root cause analysis.
