As a System of Systems Solution Architect on our team, you'll have the chance to shape the future ground architecture for Space-Based Missile Warning and Tracking. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 15+ years of experience performing systems engineering, architecture, integration, and testing for sof tware-intensive space programs for defense and intelligence missions
- 10+ years of experience in sof tware architecture, Agile system development and design, cloud computing, and DevSecOps
- 5+ years of experience performing ground systems engineering and integration for large-scale Overhead Persistent Infrared ( OPIR ) , space sensing, or space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance ( ISR ) systems
- 5+ years of experience leading systems integration teams
- Ability to work with and brief senior-level military leaders, drive consensus across government teams, and provide technical direction
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Technology field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerization, and SW frameworks
- Experience with Python, SQL, Java, and data modeling languages
- Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, or ETL frameworks
- Experience developing specifications, interface control documents ( ICDs ) , system integration, and test plans for space and ground systems using MBSE principles
- Knowledge of Missile Warning space and ground systems
- Knowledge of developing data-flow models, object models, and business process models in BPMN from analysis of existing sof tware
- Knowledge of defense acquisition and project management functions, including cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance management
- Possession of excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- TS / SCI clearance
- Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Technology field
