Oracle Fusion ERP SME Financial Systems Integration Lead
Location: Willow Grove, PA (Hybrid: 4 days onsite)
Reports to: Director of Enterprise Applications
As a critical member of our Enterprise Applications team, the Oracle Fusion ERP SME will serve as the Finance Integration Technical Lead during a transformational ERP migration from PeopleSoft Financials to Oracle Cloud ERP. This is a new position created as part of our strategic partnership with KPMG and broader enterprise modernization efforts. You ll lead key functional and technical finance integration initiatives, ensuring seamless continuity between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion ERP while contributing immediate value through your deep subject matter expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert and lead advisor for all Oracle Fusion ERP Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Projects, Fixed Assets, Costing).
- Own the technical integration strategy between PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud ERP during the transition phase.
- Partner closely with finance, IT, and external consultants to ensure functional requirements are translated into robust technical solutions.
- Provide hands-on configuration, testing, and deployment support across core financial modules.
- Support business process transformation in financial operations, ensuring continuity and minimizing disruption.
- Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution related to Oracle Cloud ERP, data integrations, and downstream reporting tools.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the internal team of developers and operations staff.
- Define and oversee third-party integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and middleware tools.
- Monitor Oracle Cloud ERP performance and proactively mitigate risks or issues.
- Train and mentor internal technical and functional team members on Oracle Cloud Financials best practices.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of ERP experience with at least 5 years in Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion).
- Proven experience in ERP transitions/migrations from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud (or similar).
- Deep understanding of financial business processes in service-oriented industries.
- Strong command of modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Project Costing, and Fixed Assets.
- Hands-on experience with FBDI, ADFdi, OIC, and Oracle reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI).
- Functional expertise in financial operations with the ability to lead solution design and integration activities.
- Prior experience as a developer or technical lead, with a focus now on functional and architectural leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate autonomously and cross-functionally.
Preferred
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Cloud Financials Implementation Specialist).
- Experience in service-based industries or project-centric financial environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and cloud security in ERP ecosystems.
Team Structure & Reporting
- Will collaborate with a team of 3 senior developers and 3 operations analysts.
- Works cross-functionally with Finance leadership, external consultants, and internal IT teams.
