Job Details

Program Manager-III
Contract (6 Months+)
Hybrid (San Francisco, CA/ Seattle, WA)
Pay Rate: $60-65 an hour on W2 (DOE)

Responsibilities:
  • Flexibility & Proactive Support
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and provide timely, proactive support across evolving project needs.
Remain available for ad hoc tasks and anticipate next steps to maintain project momentum.
  • Service & Capacity Migration Management
Lead and coordinate cloud migration efforts with detailed planning, tracking, and cross-team collaboration.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure migrations meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Failover Drill Execution
Plan and execute failover drills to validate system resilience and disaster recovery readiness.
Track issues, document procedures, and drive improvements based on drill outcomes.
  • Preparedness & Readiness Tracking
Coordinate with teams to ensure service readiness and compliance for new features and failover support.
Track progress via burndown charts and resolve blockers to meet readiness milestones.
  • Reliability & Incident Management
Manage incidents, monitor key reliability metrics, and conduct regular reviews to drive improvements.
Collaborate with teams to uphold SLAs and ensure operational health and resilience.

Qualifications:
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in platform/production/site reliability engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-team and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing cloud service migrations or reliability pursuits.
  • Ability to run status meetings, communicate, and track issues/risks/blockers using tools like JIRA.
  • Strong ability to utilize and analyse data effectively, with experience in metrics, key results, health, incidents, MTTR, etc.
  • Experience with dashboard tools such as Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Grafana, and the ability to build useful dashboards for progress tracking and visibility.
  • Proficiency in productivity tools such as Slack, Google Sheets/Docs, etc.
  • Ability to determine useful metrics and KPIs to measure program performance.
