Job Description

ECS is seeking an ARPA-H PATIO Advisor to work remotely . Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Project Accelerator Transition Innovation Office (PATIO). In this role, you will serve as a technical advisor to ARPA-H-enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation's healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As an advisor within ARPA-H, you will provide support and thought leadership to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem.

ARPA-H PATIO plays a critical role within ARPA-H by supporting program managers and performers throughout the entire lifecycle of their projects. The office is dedicated to increasing the likelihood that innovations successfully transition beyond ARPA-H's involvement and achieve independent impact. To accomplish this, PATIO offers a comprehensive range of entrepreneurial and technology-to-market services tailored to the unique needs of each project. This includes providing access to experienced advisors at the executive level, covering key areas such as clinical development, business strategy, user adoption, manufacturing, market landscape analysis, and regulatory guidance.

As an advisor within ARPA-H PATIO, you will provide expert guidance and strategic insights to help program managers and performers successfully advance their projects through various stages of development and transition. This would involve leveraging deep experience in key areas-such as clinical development, business strategy, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, user adoption, and market dynamics-to inform decision-making and problem-solving. You will, also, help identify potential challenges early and recommend practical solutions that increase the likelihood of a project's sustainable success beyond ARPA-H's support.
