JOB DESCRIPTION

Targeted Years of Experience: 7-10 years

Responsibilities
- Rapid Response Retainer Liaison
- Provide customers with a consistent interface to client's investigative response team.
The Liaison will serve as a contact point for non-emergency response questions or issues regarding the Rapid Response Retainer service, and in some cases may directly contribute to the delivery of services for customer's reactive emergency response and proactive incident response consulting engagements.
Contribute to efforts to create new customer engagement avenues, such as new types of assessments, health checks, or others. This also includes the creation of new training content modules, assessments, etc.
Maintain diligence in connecting with customer in all aspects of the Rapid Response Retainer (RRR) relationship: welcome emails; onboarding sessions; follow-ups; reminders about unused assessment options; hour balances. Stay ahead of expiration dates to ensure customers are reminded of upcoming renewal periods and support efforts to keep winning their business.
Carefully track hours for all assigned projects and submit personal time sheets on a weekly basis.
Stay abreast of the full spectrum of client's security services portfolio, especially those that they may compliment the RRR service; seek out new ways to position our services to generate new opportunities and pull-through business for the client Threat Research Advisory Center (VTRAC).
Actively participate in the VTRAC team calls and contribute to efforts to create and guide new pro-active customer engagements.
Maintain diligence in connecting with the customer in all aspects of the RRR and must be able to not only support the Retainer team, but also sales support and other team members.
Must be able to collaborate with internal teams and external partners and customers during incidents.
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
Understand various security technologies and tools and have a basic knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Experience in cybersecurity and incident response for computer related events.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Should possess a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset in order to be an effective Liaison for the RRR customers.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities and have some familiarity with forensic tools and methodologies.
Ability to adapt quickly to evolving security emergency issues.

DESIRED SKILLS:
Strong ethical mindset and commitment to client confidentiality.
Should possess a high-level understanding of firewalls, proxies, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), antivirus concepts.
Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 availability - every 7 to 8 weeks.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree and 7-10 years related experience
