Data Analyst

In this role, you will:

• Serve as a liaison between Finance Data Operations, product teams, Data Engineering, and System of Records teams throughout the data product life cycle.
• Gather data sourcing requirements and perform exploratory analysis to identify patterns, trends, and outliers.
• Provide input and collaborate with data engineers to build data pipelines and validate data fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology partners in executing target state data strategy.
• Provide advice and technical expertise on complex data/platform migration and data model design.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business operations.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve product goals.
• Develop sophisticated visualizations to communicate complex insights sometimes through custom built dashboards.
• Innovating in new ways to use data or advanced analytics to solve business problems?

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Finance/Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Advanced SQL Skills
• Proficiency using Oracle, SQL Server, and other databases
• Data Analysis and Reporting Expertise
• Data modeling and engineering experience
• Very good communication & presentation skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Product domain expertise - Loans/Traded Products/Deposits/GL
• Automation and Reporting Tools - Alteryx, PowerBI / Tableau
• Knowledge of the modern data stack technologies and exposure to Google Cloud Platform, Azzure, Py Spark, Python, S3 Storage, Hive/Hadoop, Parquet, Iceberg etc.
