Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our development team supporting AMEX via IBM. The role involves designing and optimizing database solutions, writing complex PL/SQL queries and procedures, and ensuring data integrity and performance across mission-critical applications.

- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- Write complex queries and optimize existing SQL scripts for performance
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate backend logic
- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Ensure best practices and data security standards are followed
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL development
- Proficient in SQL performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience working with large and complex databases
- Good understanding of database architecture and data modeling
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in financial domain (especially credit card or banking systems)
- Familiarity with tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, or Oracle APEX
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with IBM environments is a plus
