Join a team of IT professionals in the development, maintenance and support of critical ISO New England applications. This position will work on a wide variety of applications and technologies in a focused and dynamic team environment.

How you will make an Impact

  • Provide technical leadership to the IT team for core responsibilities in software/application enhancements, platform upgrades, and troubleshooting issues
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations in delivering on IT initiatives, incident response, and application availability
  • Manage vendor applications across multiple platforms, vendors, and business partners
  • Meet with customers on a regular basis to provide updates and to coordinate and prioritize projects and enhancements
  • Manage consultant work and time for some development and database support
  • Report out to management on initiatives, projects, issues and key team metrics
  • Work with other IT teams to coordinate work and troubleshoot issues
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously refine your technical and leadership skills, and foster a culture of learning within your team to drive innovation and growth.
  • Lead by example, making informed decisions quickly and proactively removing roadblocks. Prioritize collaboration, mentoring, and enabling your team to deliver impactful solutions efficiently.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven leadership ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service
  • Experience configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting vendor applications
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
  • Experience in at least one programming languages such as Java, Python, C++
  • Experience in AWS and cloud native technologies such as containers, container orchestration services such as, ECS, Lambda, EKS etc.
  • Familiarity navigating in Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting WebSphere
  • Experience with GIT or any other code repository/management system
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
  • Experience with use of a ticketing system for open issues and assignments a plus
