Role : IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) Automation Engineer

Location : Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automating identity management processes using IBM ISIM and will work closely with client teams to implement, configure, and optimize identity governance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and workflows within IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM).
• Configure and customize ISIM components to meet business and security requirements.
• Integrate ISIM with various enterprise systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ISIM automation and identity lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and support of identity management solutions.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and automation processes.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards during implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4 5 years of hands-on experiencewith IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) automation.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Java, or similar) for ISIM automation.
• Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and integration with HR or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence (IGI) or related IAM tools.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and web services integration.
• Exposure to DevOps practices for automation and deployment.
