Description
This is a great job for someone who has a strong interest in networking hardware and software. We have a great opportunity for someone well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure. Robert Half is hiring candidates with a high attention to detail and a passion for the field for a Network Engineer role. This Network Engineer role is located in San Antonio, Texas and is a permanent opportunity.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Maintain a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks
- Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods
- Initiate and manage network test facilities
- Work collaboratively with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management
- Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hubs, bridges, hardware and routers
Requirements
- 5+ years networking experience
- Well versed in network design and implementation strategies
- DHCP experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with Cisco ACI
- Command of Cisco ISE
- SD-WAN experience desired
