Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you will be integral in identifying, consolidating, and prioritizing product quality through the Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) process. Your role involves analyzing warranty claims, data, and statistics to swiftly identify emerging issues, enabling the creation of technical improvement projects. You will define and prioritize product concerns using the 7 Step Process, collaborating closely with the Current Product Management Team to develop robust problem statements for root cause analysis and resolution effectiveness. Additionally, you will work alongside the Plant Quality Team to address and resolve manufacturing quality issues. Regular weekly reporting on CPI findings and resolutions will be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, consolidate, and prioritize product quality using CPI process.
  • Analyze warranty claims, data, and statistics to identify emerging issues.
  • Create technical improvement projects based on analysis.
  • Define and prioritize product concerns using the 7 Step Process.
  • Provide robust problem statements for root cause development and resolution effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Current Product Management Team.
  • Work with Plant Quality Team to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
  • Produce weekly reports on CPI findings and resolutions.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in quality engineering, audit, quality control, and quality inspection.
  • Experience driving quality issues on the line and containment.
  • Experience with agriculture, construction, or heavy off-road equipment.
  • Ability to review a finished product, operate all functions, and identify defects.
  • Knowledge of product assembly beyond checklists.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience performing quality inspections and audits on the manufacturing floor.

Certifications such as Certified Quality Improvement Associate, Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Auditor are preferred but not required
