Job Title: SAP TM P44 Consultant
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Type: Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP TM P44 Consultant to join our team to support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Transportation Management (TM) integrated with Project44 (P44). The ideal candidate will have deep experience in logistics and transportation systems, particularly with real-time visibility solutions, and SAP TM integration expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and integration of SAP TM with Project44 (P44) to enable real-time freight visibility and tracking.
- Configure and customize SAP TM modules based on client logistics processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage the integration of P44 APIs with SAP systems, ensuring data flow for shipment tracking and notifications.
- Conduct testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and support deployment activities.
- Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution in collaboration with SAP Basis and technical teams.
- Stay current on SAP TM and transportation visibility technologies to recommend process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM), preferably including SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in integrating Project44 (P44) with SAP TM.
- Experience in transportation execution, carrier collaboration, and freight tracking.
- Familiarity with API/Web Services, IDocs, and other SAP integration technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Event Management or SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN).
- SAP TM certification.
- Prior experience working with large-scale supply chain/logistics implementations.
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Agile or SAP Activate project methodology experience is advantageous.
