Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Architect to lead the technical vision and direction within a key application domain. This role is critical in shaping the architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, and mentoring technical teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate the application architecture and application-level roadmap.
- Design, document, and govern frameworks and platforms for use across the technical delivery organization.
- Lead the creation and evolution of the overall application architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the enterprise target state.
- Promote and govern the use of architectural trends and best practices across delivery teams and enterprise architecture.
- Establish and maintain standards for design leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Evaluate products and solutions within the architectural domain.
- Mentor and guide technical delivery staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Architect.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing application roadmaps and architecture strategies.
- Strong expertise in cloud and cloud-native technologies, including APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with commercial software products extended through custom development.
- Familiarity with marketing data assets and technologies, including offer/campaign management systems and supporting data platforms.
- Ability to integrate transactional and analytical systems at scale with high performance.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex architecture to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience architecting solutions with high performance, availability, reliability, and security requirements.
- Deep understanding of data and system integration patterns and technologies.
- Proficiency in managing large-scale initiatives.
- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and how architecture integrates with Agile teams.
- Strong conceptual, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
