What We Need:

POSITION: Sr. Software Engineer

LOCATION: 6555 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039

JOB DUTIES: Develop service-enabled, rules-based, cloud-native applications on distributed platforms using latest tools and technology to support highly scalable event-driven architectures using cloud platforms and services. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from project inception to completion, by aligning client requirements with cutting-edge technology solutions and ensuring software compliance with standards and end-user requirements within a hybrid cloud setup. Collaborate with Product Teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, refining application details, and leveraging AI/ML solutions in specialty healthcare. Review product specifications, develop strategies, and maintain an architectural roadmap for software and environmental needs. Recommend for changes in development, maintenance, and system standards, as well as challenge functional and technical requirements. Provide mentorship to the team in advanced design and engineering methodologies, performance analysis of existing systems, and proposing design alternatives to meet or surpass system SLAs. Foster a productive agile environment by closely collaborating with stakeholders, frequent deployment, and continuous inspection and adaptation. Manage planning, prioritization, work assignments and tasks within the team along with coordination and collaboration with extended teams to resolve dependencies and ensure quality timely delivery. 100% Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Alternatively, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience, the employer will accept ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or related field.

Applicant must have five (5) years of demonstrated experience with the following skills:

  • Mobile application development experience using native and hybrid platforms and technologies;
  • Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure or AWS (IaaS, PaaS, and Services);
  • Distributed Microservices/ Services oriented Architecture for building and designing scalable SaaS solutions and RESTful applications;
  • Java, Spring, Hibernate, XML, RESTful Web Services, and Python;
  • Front-end technologies (JQuery, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React);
  • SQL and PL/SQL;
  • JIRA and Git;
  • Infrastructure cloud tools (Terraform, Docker, Aspire, or Kubernetes); and
  • DevOps tools and processes (GitActions, Gradle, Artifactory, Concourse, and Bamboo).

OFFERED WAGE: $149,781- $208,400/year
