  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This role will be responsible for verifying the quality and reliability of our products through thorough testing and continuous process enhancement. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects, validate fixes, and help ensure a smooth user experience.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
    • Demonstrated experience as a QA Engineer or in a comparable role
    • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
    • Experience using automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit)
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
    • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
    • Thorough understanding of source code control, build, and deployment using release automation tools
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills


    PREFERRED

    • Background in Agile/Scrum development environments
    • Knowledge of performance testing and/or security testing
    • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure
    • Experience using API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
    • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage
    • Perform regression, performance, and stress testing
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
    • Be available to DMV personnel for online consultations/meetings M-F, 8a-5p Pacific Time.
    • Provide regular QA status updates (progress, issues, and risks) in meetings.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
