DevOps Engineer / AWS

A financial company is looking for a DevOps to add to their growing team. This individual review, evaluate, design, and implement AWS cloud infrastructure to aid in large migration effort. An ideal candidate will have a security focused mindsight, and extensive experience working with a multitude of different AWS services. They should also have experience creating infrastructure as code templates in Terraform and building out new Kubernetes clusters from scratch.
This role will be fully remote and can be done from anywhere in the US. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience with Linux system administration
• Strong understanding and experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Security focused mindset and knowledge of best practices
• Proficiency in containerization with both Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong experience with Terraform or other IAC tools
• Experience working with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins or GitHub Actions preferred)
• Experience with Git source code control
• Ability to script in Python or Go
• Experience working with observability tools

Desired Skills & Experience

• Knowledge or experience building cloud native data pipelines is a big plus
