RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Lead in Saint Louis, MO.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Lead to join our client's team, focusing specifically on their Salesforce ecosystem. This is a critical role responsible for building, implementing, and maturing our DevOps practice and rigor around a significant multi-year Salesforce and Workday implementation. The ideal candidate will be an expert in development and operations, with a strong emphasis on continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), version control, and automation. This role is essential for maintaining synchronized environments and ensuring a seamless and reliable deployment pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
* The DevOps Lead will build, implement, and lead the DevOps practice for our Salesforce initiatives
* Establish and enforce best practices for code versioning, environment management, and automated deployments
* Design and develop CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and code deployments across different environments
* Ensure environment synchronization and maintain proper controls to prevent code conflicts and maintain a clean, organized release process
* As a DevOps Lead, you will provide training and mentorship to internal employees on DevOps tools, processes, and best practices
* Manage and execute deployments, including occasional after-hours releases, to support project timelines
* Collaborate with the Salesforce Engineering team and other stakeholders to streamline development workflows and improve overall efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a DevOps professional, with a dedicated focus on the Salesforce platform
* Extensive experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies
* Deep understanding of core DevOps principles, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation
* Demonstrated expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex environment and deployment issues
* Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with a passion for training and enabling others
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Salesforce DX
* Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment with multiple parallel development streams
* Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Flosum)
* Knowledge of Workday or other ERP systems is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
